About Me

I am a finance and accounting professional, with over 30 years of experience in the healthcare IT, health insurance, and non-profit industries.

I am in the last year of my 3rd 4-year term as a Parkland School Board Director. I am a passionate advocate for public education in Parkland, Pennsylvania, and nationally. I have served as the PSD Board President and Vice-President. I am on the Joint Operating Committee at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute where I have served in various leadership roles. I am the PSD representative on the Lehigh Carbon Community College Board of Trustees. I was also recently appointed as the Section E-2 Advisor (Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, and Monroe Counties) for the Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA) where I served as Governing Board President. Until this past December, I was PSBA’s representative on the Consortium of State School Boards Association Governing Board (COSSBA - a new national organization). I was chair of the Keystone Center for Charter Change Advisory Board and previously served as PSBA’s representative on the School Safety and Security Committee under the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency.

I reside in South Whitehall Township with my wife and daughter, who are both teachers in the Parkland School District. I also serve on the board of and volunteer with the Parkland CARES Food Pantry. We have lived in the Parkland School District for the past 28 years. We moved to South Whitehall because of the great school district. Since we started calling Parkland home, the district has only grown—not only in the number of students, but also in the quality of education and the number of offerings across all three pillars: Academics, Arts, and Athletics.

Parkland Proud is a way of life for me! I hope to be able to continue as a member of the school board for the next four years, serving our awesome community, and helping to see Parkland Vision 2030 through to completion.
